Heart and Heart Surgery

In 2007, Inova Heart and Vascular Institute celebrated 30 years of cardiac surgery and more than 30,000 cardiovascular operations.
Inova Heart and Vascular Institute provides the full spectrum of diagnostic and interventional cardiac services, as well as electrophysiology and cardiac surgery, including heart and lung transplantation and implantation of artificial heart devices.
Inova was recently awarded a prestigious $1.5 million contract from the National Institute of Health for research into advanced lung disease.
