Life Services focuses on the psychosocial, developmental and educational
needs of children. Child Life is designed to help ease the anxiety and
stress sometimes associated with being hospitalized, as well as promote
normal childhood growth and development.

Pediatric Cardiac Surgery
The pediatric cardiac surgery program at Inova Fairfax Hospital for
Children, founded in 1988, is Northern Virginia's only pediatric tertiary care
center, encompassing the full spectrum of pediatric cardiovascular and
cardiothoracic surgical procedures. The surgical team uses state-of-the-art approaches to surgery and recovery, and provides patients with safer,
